Cell C marks a decade

The fifth issue of the Cell C magazine - © - offers the usual mix of topical news, digital lifestyle, gadgets, local celebs and culture; however the central theme is Cell C’s celebration of a decade in the local mobile industry – not bad for a renegade upstart that set out, in 2001, to face down the giants of Vodacom and MTN. Today Cell C has over 8 million customers and sits at the forefront of local I.C.T. developments.

The magazine features a detailed timeline across two spreads, which chronicles Cell C’s evolution, telecoms & mobile landmarks and cultural highlights of the decade. Particular focus was given to Cell C’s investment in the arts.

For the first time, this issue invites customers onto a new Cell C blog site, where the mag’s key stories are expanded upon and complemented by exclusive content, galleries or embedded videos, and additional digital lifestyle blog posts.
